Cape May Fire Department
 

The Cape May Fire Department is staffed by thirteen full time career Firefighter/EMT's who work on three shifts.  A Lieutenant heads the A shift and the B shift while the Deputy Chief heads the C shift.The chief is on duty five days a week. Each shift is on duty for twenty fours hours and then is off duty for forty eight hours.  A list of available part time personnel is kept to cover time off and to allow for extra manpower during the busy tourist season.
